for activism. You can search not only the American issues, but those

The Poor People's Economic Human Rights campain- a `multicultural organization
of, by and for poor and homeless people struggling to survive and bring
everyone up and out of poverty'. Established in Kensington, Philadelphia,
to highlight the effects of closing industry, this site is a fantastic
example of activism, and optimism, at a local level.

Positive Futures Network, an American non profit organization dedicated
to
supporting people's active engagement in creating a more just, sustainable
and compassionate world. They publish YES! A Journal of Positive

The Olympic Living Wage Project is an international human rights project
focusing on the lives of sweatshop workers in Nike’s Indonesian shoe
factories.
The two project participants, Jim Keady and Leslie Kretzu, will adopt
the
lifestyle, diet, customs and culture of the factory workers and live
on their
prevailing wages over approximately a two-month period.
McLibel: Two Worlds Collide is the inside story of how a single father
and a part-time bar worker took on the McDonald's Corporation. Filmed
over three years, the documentary follows Helen Steel and Dave Morris
as they are transformed from anonymous campaigners into unlikely global
heroes defending themselves in the longest trial in English history.
